Terms of Service

Welcome to Shoe Vault. Shoe Vault is operated by Nice Supply, LLC ("Company," "we," "us"). By accessing yourshoevault.com (the "Site") or placing a reservation, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Site or reserve a product. By reserving, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Reservations & the charge-at-goal model

Shoe Vault sells products through a crowdfunding-style pre-order campaign. When you reserve a tier, you select a product and (where enabled) securely save a payment method via our processor, Stripe. You are not charged at the time of reservation. We charge the saved payment method only if the campaign reaches its stated funding goal by the stated deadline. If the campaign does not reach its goal, you are not charged and any payment authorization is released. A reservation is an offer to purchase and does not create a completed sale until the campaign succeeds and payment is processed.

3. Pricing, taxes & shipping

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change before the campaign closes. Applicable taxes and shipping are calculated at or after checkout and may be billed separately. Because the product includes a pressurized inert-gas canister, shipping is limited to ground service within the United States; we may be unable to ship the canister by air or internationally. Where shipping is restricted, we may offer an alternative (e.g., a bag-only kit).

4. Product information, estimates & no guarantee

Shoe Vault helps slow the chemical reactions (oxidation and hydrolysis) that degrade footwear in storage. Any statements about extended lifespan, "reseal-by" dates, or preservation outcomes are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Actual results depend on your items' materials and condition, your storage environment, correct use of the kit, and maintaining the recommended reseal schedule. You are responsible for following all product and safety instructions, including safe handling of the argon canister. We are not liable for damage to footwear or other items stored using the product.

5. Cancellations & changes

You may cancel a reservation at any time before your payment is charged. After a charge, see our Refund Policy below. We reserve the right to modify, delay, or cancel the campaign or product, and to correct errors, in which case we will provide notice and, where you have been charged, a refund as described below.

6. Shipping & risk of loss

Estimated delivery windows are estimates and may change. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery of the product to the carrier.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including the Shoe Vault name, logos, text, and designs — are owned by Nice Supply, LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nice Supply, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or value of stored items. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or the Site will not exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant product.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nice Supply, LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the product or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law

Nice Supply, LLC is organized under the laws of the State of Delaware. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Nice Supply, LLC collects, uses, and shares information when you use Shoe Vault.

1. Information we collect

• Information you provide: email address, name, shipping details, and the tier you reserve.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles card data under its own terms and PCI compliance.
• Automatic information: device, browser, IP address, and usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use information

• To process reservations and orders, and to charge payment at funding goal.
• To send campaign updates, shipping notices, and reseal/replenishment reminders.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us run Shoe Vault — including Stripe (payments), our database/hosting provider, our email provider, analytics providers, and shipping/fulfillment partners — only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information to comply with law or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and analytics to understand Site usage and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@yourshoevault.com. Depending on where you live (e.g., California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights regarding your personal data.

7. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Refund Policy

1. Before the campaign funds

You are not charged unless and until the campaign reaches its funding goal by the deadline. If the campaign does not reach its goal, you are not charged and any payment authorization is released — nothing further is owed.

2. If the campaign funds

If the goal is met and your payment is charged, you may cancel for a full refund any time before your order enters production/fulfillment (we will state the cutoff in your confirmation email). After that point, the order is in production and may no longer be cancellable.

3. After your order ships

If your product arrives defective or damaged, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a replacement or refund. For health and safety reasons, opened argon canisters and used desiccant are non-returnable; this does not affect your rights regarding defective goods.

4. How to request a refund

Email hello@yourshoevault.com with your name and reservation/order details. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days after we process the request.
